December 2008

12-14 : The 24h of Tremblant

A marvellous mixture of fun, helping and skiing at Mont-Tremblant Resort. It's the 8th running of Eastern North America's biggest fundraising event: The 24 h of Tremblant. Come cheer on the participants or take part in the action yourself. Registration and details at tremblant.ca/24h.

19-22 : Super séries du Club de Ski

FIS Super Series race for young men and women ages 15 and over. More than 185 participants from Quebec, Ontario and the United States are expected to attend.

20-21: Demo Day

Everyone is welcome! The biggest names in the ski industry gather at the base of the South Side to let you try out the newest releases in snow toys and gear. If you like what you see, you can benefit from special promotional deals from boutiques in Tremblant’s pedestrian village. This is your only opportunity to try before you buy your equipment.

20 December - 3 January : Christmas And New Year's Eve Celebrations

Holiday magic is a tradition in Tremblant! Festive family fun with the Crazy Parade every night after a day on the slopes. Games and friendly competitions are on the menu.

January 2008

17-18 : Coupe Taschereau

Provincial-level GS and SL race for young men and women ages 13 and 14, organized by the Tremblant Ski Club. More than 150 participants from Quebec, Ontario, and the USA are expected to attend.

20-23 : Super G training Camp

Super G training for men and women, organized by the Tremblant Ski Club, for Club athletes and their guests. More than 40 racers are expected to take part.

24-25 : Super G

DLS-level SG race for young men and women ages 13 and 14, organized by the Tremblant Ski Club. More than 120 participants from the Laurentians Ski Division are expected.

31 : Burton El Nino

Young boarders ages 15 and under will be able to hone their technique with guidance from members of the Burton team, while pitting themselves against other boarders in a friendly jam.

February 2008

4-6 : NSIA

An annual event. Tremblant welcomes the National Snow Industries Association (NSIA) for demonstrations of skiing and boarding gear. Open to suppliers and retailers only, by invitation.

7-8 : Salomon Snowboards Backyard Bang

Known across Canada, this slope-style series of competitions makes its third annual stop in Tremblant. Don’t miss this event’s only stop in Quebec. These riders, boys and girls of all ages, are guaranteed to impress.

10 : Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Ski Challenge

Businesses send their ski teams, ranging from novice to expert, to take part in this fundraising event for children with serious or life-threatening illnesses, as well as those living with various physical limitations, and their families.

14-21 : Washington Week (American School Break)

Welcome, American visitors! We have many special activities planned both on and off the slopes to make your holiday week in Canada unforgettable.

20 February - 8 March : Féerie des Glaces

A new regional event that pays tribute to ice and snow. Featuring international sculptors, sliding and tobogganing, ice climbing, shows for kids, organized activities and surprises. The best way to get the most fun out of winter!

22 February - 7 March : Quebec School Break

Two weeks of activities and entertainment organized for spring break. Let the games begin! The Snow School has a variety of cool programs for all ages and levels, for a safe and fun vacation on the slopes.

8 : Russel Armstrong Cup

GS race for boys and girls of the Laurentians Ski Division, organized by the Tremblant Snow School. More than 100 participants from various regional ski clubs are expected.

8-21 : Ontario Spring Break

Skiing, boarding, tubing, music, parties… School’s out! Activities and entertainment for the whole family. Make the most of every moment of your holiday at Tremblant!

28 March - 5 April : TELUS Spin 09

Be prepared for the 7th edition. Experience the spring's ski event par excellence with competitions for all disciplines and levels, plus a whole lot more! Don’t miss the free outdoor concerts and parties.

31 March - 4 April : Canadian Snowboard Championship

Part of the Telus Spin, this major national event will feature 400 of the best athletes from across Canada as a forerunner to the Olympic Games. Boardercross, half-pipe, Parallel Giant Slalom.

11 : Caribou Splash Cup

The tradition lives on… Take a shot at crossing a 75-foot pool of ice-cold water on your way to the P’tit Caribou, and then celebrate your personal victory into the wee hours of the morning! Must be 18 years and over to participate. Don’t forget your costume!

12 : Easter

Activities and entertainment galore. Join our famous Easter egg hunt with the whole family.

12 : Taffy Strip

An event for the whole family at the top of the mountain. You won’t believe your eyes as you take part in the making of the longest, on-snow taffy strip imaginable. Yummy fun for everyone!
